Ancient Treasures Looted, Destroyed in Egypt's Chaos-

Zahi Hawass, Secretary of Egypt’s Supreme Council of Antiquities, informs that many museums have been looted by thieves taking advantage of the political turmoil. The thieves stol jewelry, precious objects, and destroyed several artifacts. This act has angered many archeologists, especially Zahi Hawass.
In Zahi Hawass’ report, he states that around a thousand people jumped over the wall on one side of the museum on a day when it was not well guarded. Luckily, they entered the gift shop and mistook it for the museum, stealing jewelry. However, ten of the thieves entered the museum and broke in while Zahi Hawass was at home. He was not allowed to go outside of his house due to a new curfew, and had to wait until the morning to see the museum. He is happy to report that all of the artifacts that were damaged are able to be restored.

Bin Laden Praised Arab Revolts, Predicted more 'winds of change' in Audio-

Osama bin Laden called the demonstrations that made Mubarak step down a “revolution of destiny.” The recording was released by al-Qaeda after bin Laden was killed. Al-Qaeda was quoted saying that the recording was created a week before May 2.
Bin Laden praised the demonstrations and said that he hoped that the “winds of change will blow across the Muslim world.” Even though bin Laden’s tapes have been used by al-Qaeda for recruiting, his death is unlikely to slow al-Qaeda down. Analyst Carl Ungerer of the Australian Strategic Policy Institute believes that the violence will most likely turn to smaller but more numerous terrorist plots in the future.
